A trip to Wine Lake Camp is a one-of-a-kind experience. To reach our boat-in only camp, you will go on an hour-long adventure 25 miles through the water to our remote location.
We will first take you on an 18-mile journey through the Canadian wilderness on our new 22-foot Zagfab. This will bring you to our 50-foot portage next to a beautiful waterfall where we will help you move your
gear into one of our dependable Lund boats. All our boats are clean, safe, and have well-maintained 4-stroke 25 hp Yamaha motors.
From there, you will begin your seven-mile ride into a river system complete with wild rice, lilies and winding bends before reaching the solitude of Wine Lake.
Experience "life on the edge" as you reach a secluded lake where we are the only facility for miles around. Once you get settled in, our camp on Wine Lake features six well-maintained log cabins, turn of the century outhouses, and a rugged icehouse.
Fish, relax, or even enjoy an afternoon siesta in our lazy day hammocks. We provide all the necessities for light housekeeping with a blend of modern convenience to make your wilderness adventure complete. We recycle, compost and utilize earth-friendly
cleaning products as we care for our beloved planet. Simple, one room cabins are bathed in light from rooftop solar panels. The cozy, log cabins can sleep 2-8 people.
We can easily house couples, families or your entire fishing or hunting party.
Each cabin has a screened in porch facing the lake, and there is a central showerhouse with hot water for your use so don’t forget your towel! A central spicket provides running water. The government of Ontario recommends boiling the water in remote
locations before consuming it. Are you ready to explore? Portage into your wilderness adventure!
